Here you can find species like korean arborvitae, (<em>Thuja koraiensis<\/em>), hiba, (<em>Thujopsis dolabrata<\/em>) and japanese hemlock, (<em>Tsuga diversifolia<\/em>). The firs (<em>Abies<\/em>) include korean fir, (<em>Abies koreana<\/em>) and veitch fir, (<em>Abies veitchii<\/em>), while the spruces (<em>Picea<\/em>) consists of yezo spruce, (<em>P. jezoensis<\/em>), korean spruce, (<em>P. koraiensis<\/em>) och sakhalin spruce, (<em>P. glehnii<\/em>). The most distinctive broad-leaved trees in this part of the arboretum is probably the siberian crab apples (<em>Malus baccata<\/em>) in the spring, with their white flowers.
