In 1543 there were six landowners in Baggb\u00f6le. A map from 1693 shows the four farms in the village, the salmon fishing along the river and also the mill site where two mills were located.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The sawmill can be seen on a map from 1817. In 1840, a company from Gothenburg took over the sawmill, it was Dickson & Co. The firm was owned by the brothers James and Robert Dickson who immigrated from Scotland in the early 1800s. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
