Winter, the season of rest and recovery is here and our arboreta are surrounded by a thick blanket of snow. Depending on the weather, there may therefore be limited accessibility in the terrain out in the Arboretum in Baggb\u00f6le. On the road to the parking lot and in the parking lots we have regular snow removal. The main trail down along the river is often trampled by visitors or driven up by snowmobiles. Sometimes there are also ski tracks along L\u00e4gdaleden. Regardless, we welcome you to a moment of recreation, where we warmly recommend you to bring a thermos and a seat mat. If you want to make a warming fire at Tv\u00e4tth\u00e4llsstugan, we advise you to bring your own firewood as we unfortunately cannot promise continuous availability of firewood during the winter months. However, in 2026, a firewood store will be built behind the large notice board at the parking lot above the mansion, where visitors can buy firewood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The accessibility of the campus arboretum is also limited for natural reasons, but there are some paths to get around, as well as on the bicycle and pedestrian paths around SLU.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
