The Arboretum in Baggböle
Our main arboretum is situated 10 km outside Umeå city in the small village Baggböle. The arboretum is open all year round with voluntary entrance and parking. For guided tours click here.
Car: The arboretum in Baggböle has two parking lots; the main parking lot above Baggböle Manor and a smaller parking lot above the European part of the arboretum.
Bicycle or by foot: The easiest way to reach the arboretum by foot or by bicycle is via the walking trail along the river. The trail extends through the entire arboretum and eventually ends in Strandpromenaden, which continues into Umeå city center.
Toilet: The arboretum in Baggböle has two outdoor toilets, one near the main parking lot and one down in Kvarnängen.
At the parking lot above Herrgården you will find a noticeboard full of information and a map, as well as brochures that can be purchased for SEK 15 each. The adaptive hiking trail Lägdaleden also starts from here, which is a path in flat terrain where it is possible to travel with e.g. wheelchair or stroller.

The Campus Arboretum & Office
You will find the arboretum around the facilities of the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences on the campus area. Our office is located inside the building on level 4. Car parking is available on the University campus.
