Here we have gathered our common hazels (Corylus avellana) in one place. Two older specimens are situated closest to the main road while younger individuals are planted further up the slope behind them. Close to the hazels we have a common lime (Tilia × europaea), which is a hybrid/cross between small-leaved lime (Tilia cordata) and large-leaved lime (Tilia platyphyllos). Right next to them we have a nice sweet cheery tree (Prunus avium) growing which looks spectacular during its flowering time. In later years this tree has begun producing basal shoots which we have successfully moved to nearby areas to ensure the species has a place here also in the future. If one continues further upstreams you can also find a few smaller sour cherrys (Prunus cerasus). These two cherry species are the only native to Sweden.
