Every spring and autumn our supporting association The Friends of Arboretum Norr organize a volunteer work day in the arboretum in Baggböle. Arboretum Norr provide the tasks and tools. Everyone works at their own pace. We usually work for a couple of hours, but if you can only join us for a little while, that’s fine too. The day ends with a common Swedish fika.
The event is a nice way to get to know Arboretum Norr, its friends and employees. Sometimes the participants have received trees as a reward for the working day, also lotteries, quizzes, treasure hunts with rarer species as a prize have occurred. Casual clothes and a pair of protective gloves are recommended!
